4Cs is committed to identifying, assessing and managing risks across our programs, workshops, rehearsals, showcases, school partnerships, community events, online activities and volunteer involvement. We take reasonable steps to provide safe, inclusive and culturally respectful environments for children, young people, families, staff, volunteers, contractors, partners and community members.
Our risk management approach includes planning, supervision, child safety practices, venue and event risk assessments, incident reporting, privacy and media safeguards, volunteer screening, emergency procedures and ongoing review. Risks relating to child safety, physical safety, online safety, cultural safety, privacy, media use, complaints, partnerships and organisational governance are reviewed and managed by the 4Cs leadership team and Board.
4Cs maintains internal risk management procedures, incident reporting processes and risk registers to support safe practice and continuous improvement.
